Policy on Distance Limits for Providing Clinical Supervision
to Students Admitted to a Teacher Licensure Program

Individuals admitted to a Department of Special Education Bachelor or Master degree program with teacher licensure must complete their field study and student teaching requirements in an approved school located no more than 45 miles from the University of Utah. Only individuals whose approved field placement is within the 45 mile limit will be provided with registration index numbers for the field study or student teaching.
