Graduate Assistant
Rosemary Capps is a doctoral student in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis on Literacy. Rosemary received her BA in Sociology from Brigham Young University in 2000 and her MA in Teaching International Languages from California State University, Chico, in 2005. She has taught ESL to students of all ages in Romania, Nova Scotia, and California. Her research interests include adult literacy, informal education, and conceptual change in preservice teachers.
Rosemary is from Wheatland, CA, a very small town in the northern end of the Sacramento Valley. Among other things, she enjoys hiking, gardening, writing, ballroom dancing, cooking, whitewater rafting, and spending time with friends and family.
