Advanced Placement Summer Institute Policies

Session Cancellation Policy

A course may be cancelled if it does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, in which case a full refund will be issued. The decision to make or cancel sessions will be determined case by case with the consultant. REGISTER EARLY!!

Attendance Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made 30 days prior to the start of the institute in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the institute will be assessed a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 2 days will be assessed a $200 cancellation fee. "No shows" will not receive a refund.

Substitution and Transfer Policies

A substitute may attend in a registrant's place with no administrative fees if our office receives notification at least two weeks before the institute begins. After that, an administrative fee of $25 will be applied.

Certificiation and Attendance Policy

Participants meet for 30 contact hours of instruction during the week (lunch and breaks are not counted in instructional hours). Participants must attend all 30 hours in order to receive a certificate of completion and/or Professional Development Credit (PDC).

If you do not attend all 30 contact hours we will be unable to give you the College Board* certificate of attendance. In addition, if you sign up for PDC and you do not attend the full 30 contact hours you will only be eligible to receive a $40 return on the $100 fee you paid.
